This particular wedding Kimono was extremely unique.   The abstract, unusual patterning is not common for wedding Kimono in Japan.  I decided on making a couple of handbags from this Kimono for the woman who would prefer a less typically Japanese Kimono handbag.

The KIKO Kimono Classic handbag is designed for women to have their one of a kind wearable piece of Art with them day and night. The KIKO is made from an authentic Japanese wedding Kimono (Uchikake) that is framed with specially designed hand crafted and environmentally friendly wooden handles. Rare and hand crafted, no two are alike. Luxurious, voluptuous and boldly individual.
